Been riding my emonda SLR with the 1st gen ultegra di2 since 2021 – always bugged me how loud the drivetrain has been. It’s is rarely ever quiet, even after a full degrease + clean , and lube up with UFO chain, its quiet for 3-5km after before getting noisy again. I mainly ride in dry weather too.
The noise seems much louder when I’m in the larger gear in the front.
I’ve taken a video of the noise when I’m riding.
Any ideas what I can do?

It doesn’t sound that loud? I’d say maybe check your pulley wheels and BB. Just curious, is this your first frame with carbon/oversized tubing?
Sounds not perfectly indexed, apart from that, it’s normal. A derailleur simply is a bit noisy. The noise variance based on gear choice isn’t unusual either.
It might help a bit to regrease or replace the pulley wheels. I know it did for me.
Give it greese in the derailleur joints the chain and the jockey wheels then wipe it all off and let the residual do its thing should sound better
For what it’s worth, I’m riding an early 90s roadbike – it’s considerably, by a large margin, quieter than the 5000€, all carbon, electric actuators bikes the other guys ride… So much so that I’m wondering if an insanely loud drivetrain is now the newest status symbol…
Sounds quite normal. If the chain is not rubbing your front derailleur, you are golden. Also a bit of chain lube usually quiets things down a bit.
