  1. All the crank sprockets should be narrow-wide variants, and all chains should have tensioners. That would stop them falling off. The video wasn't clear whether the power of four pairs of legs was breaking anything but I doubt it. Looks like the chains were coming unhooked.

  2. Wouldn't it be better to put the pedals out of sync, so that there are at least two people putting tension on the chain and two people aren't? Would make for a smoother ride without as much accelleration when the pedal comes down + reduced stresses on the drivetrain. kinda like if an engine fired all its pistons at the same time, and not one after another.

  3. My friends and I just staggered the pedals, so if the front persons right foot was at the top, the person behind was front middle, person behind them bottom, person at the rear back middle, it meant we had constant torque on the wheel and the whole movement of everything was smoother and we had constant tension on each chain so they wouldn't come off. The person at the front had to be the strongest out of the four though, or just had to be constantly putting power down. It was fun
