How did this happen? Was the shiftingcable too long and got caught in the drivetrain?

Ignoring the how it happened question, Jagwire Elite Link is cool, same with alligator i-link.
You’ve also got a UDH so Eagle Transmission did away with the cable

Never seen that b4 lol u should be able to use any housing thats a freak accident that is one and a million.

What do you mean by fifth ride? The state of that drivetrain and those spokes seems to show months of neglect. Just buy standard Shimano shift housing. A bit of TLC will be a better investment.
