While pumping up my road bike tires, my rear doesn’t seem to hold air. When I move the presta valve in, air leaks out. Do I need to replace the tube inside?
My front tire has a locking nut on the valve so it can’t move around but the rear tire doesn’t.

Yes, you need the locking nut. And yes – replace the tube.
