Im looking at grabbing a 97 Schwinn super stock 3 next weekend. The crank, seat and bars look garbage. (Stock crank was always garbage on these) so I’m hoping to slap an upgraded crank, seat and bars on.
My question is … I assume this isn’t a one size fits all? And will I have trouble finding a crank that will fit? The seat and bars I assume are simple. But I Want to put a beefy 3 piece on. And suggestions/concerns? Im probably going to have a shop do it as I’m trash with bearings.. but more size/fit/compatibility wise.
I plan on riding trails/dirt.

It’s an American bottom bracket so you shouldn’t have any trouble getting parts that will work. Profile cranks would be good and I’ve beat on some Sunday Saker cranks and they are still good.
