So the local shop is selling me a Giant Contend AR4 (claris group set)or $940. REI has the Cannondale Synapse 3 (Dora group set)for $1038. Can anyone give some insight as to which would be a better choice. New to the sport and Fell in love with bike riding but from what I hear is that most of these bikes are over prices nowadays for what they offer. Want the best bang for my buck toward a bike I can keep for years to come. Thank you!
