Box in back is temporary. Or maybe it’s not? It holds pretty dam well and where I’m at (Arizona) it hardly ever rains. 6 liters of capacity too so can hold quite a bit. Just need to get middle triangle bag and mount a sleeping bag on the front / back and I’ll be set. Still planning out my route to tuscon, but so far so good. Installed new bike computer too and it’s cool seeing my speed and miles I’ve done so far!

Best mod you can do for touring is handlebars with multiple possible hand positions. Don’t have to go all they way to double-level butterfly bars with numerous extensions; standard drop bars already work well enough.
