Greetings! Can someone explain me what’s happening with the second movement of the derailleur when i’m shifting? How can i solve this? Mostly after i’m chainring into the small ring i have to stop to place the chain on the chainring.
I don’t have that problem on every ride, but i guess once a week the shifter starts to drop in two movements, with the second one dropping the chain.
    (yes, it’s a fucking sram)

  2. First movement shifts the chain, second movement trims the mech for no noise in lower rear sprockets.
If the chain is dropping then you need to adjust the L adjuster on the mech to stop the mech moving so far. This can happen as parts wear and move over time.
Set the rear mech to the largest sprocket and the front mech to the smallest chainring. Adjust the L screw so there is a tiny gap between mech and chain.
