I’ve used en extra long milk crate on my Clydesdale before because there are nice dog carrier options for them but they tend to catch a lot of wind. Now, I mostly use the largest Wald basket out there and it’s worked well. It’s light and wind goes right through.

I was using a tall record crate on mine for a while. For some reason I kept getting pissed off that bungee cords wouldn’t stay put (without drilling holes). So I went for a Wald 157 and like other commenters it’s really great. Gotta put a carpet sample down so yr bits n bobs don’t fuck off to the road.
