Good morning,
I would like to have your opinion regarding the purchase of my new bike.
I own a Grail CF SL. I feel frustrated because I would like to be fast on the road. Besides, I chose a size L. I measure 186 with a crotch length of 85cm.
My choice is therefore towards an Ultimate model. I read that the Endurace would be a bit of a duplicate with my Grail. I would probably take it in size M. What do you think?
Could you enlighten me between these two models which are within my budget. Are they worth the cost, which is best? Should I upgrade to a 3000 model for better value for money?
Or Maybe I should go for a used model from a previous year
The goal is to do long outings while being fast. The Ultimate is apparently very comfortable for long rides
Or take carbon wheels with road tires on my Grail (?).
In any case I want to have fun. I am a leisure cyclist but looking to have the best in a budget of 2500 eurosq to enjoy speed, and make mountain passes easier
Thanks in advance for your future responses

Between the two bikes, I’d definitely go for the left one with the new R7100 groupset. It‘s 12-speed, more modern and cheaper. Frame + wheelset seems identical.
If you want a fast (climbing) bike, the ultimate is for you. The Aeroad might be a tiny bit faster, but it‘s not as good for climbing.
The Grail on the other hand is quite fast as well, while being comfortable … I‘d say go for a second wheelset with road tires and try that first, before purchasing another bike.
I have the ultimate cf sl 7 ( 12s) and it’s a very good bike, i took S , 1m80 and 82 and it fits me perfect.
I KNOW this will get downvoted, but Cervelo Soloist is a very comparable (I mean considerably more expensive, but you’re not buying top of the bin to begin with) and arguably a better bike to purchase. QC with canyon has been crap in my experience owning 3, and the ultimate is NOT a stiff frame by any means.
