Owen Paul and his band performing his new single, a cover of the Utopia song "One World" in the cellar. It would flop at No.87 in November. He closes the episode playing his self-penned 1985 debut single "Pleased to Meet You", which failed to chart on its first outing but made the lower reaches of the chart following the runaway success of his cover of Marshall Crenshaw's "My Favourite Waste of Time". "Pleased to Meet You" peaked at a lowly No.78 in September 1986.
Obvious thing to say but No. 73 wasn't the same after Sandi Toksvig left (and perhaps the show should've been put out to pasture when she did).
Man, I remember that Samantha Telebug model. If that ever came up on ebay, I'd be putting in a very substantial bid. Awesome bit of craftsmanship.
I've been hoping the episodes with 'The Z Team' appear. Hopefully the specific one I'm after appears at some point. One of the episodes was filmed in and around my village when I was a kid back at the time. And a car stunt was filmed on the road I lived on. I've always wanted to see it again. I think I did record it onto VHS at the time, but I don't think I've got it anymore.
I'm in love with Samantha, although I dread to think what she looks like these days.

Going to hazard a guess: if this is a VHS dub from the master, could we assume the master tape doesn't exist anymore?
OK, I'm completely obsessed with this now – WE NEED TO FIND SAMANTHA. Where is she?!?
