Before I role the dice on an eBay find and risk not getting what I want or something not usable, hoping you guys can give me some suggestions/guidance.
Another cyclist t-boned me waiting for traffic at an intersection. As you can see, the back wheel is wrecked!
I really want the exact wheel. Note these are not Ultra 2’s (compatible w clinchers & tubular). These are tubular only.
This is my proverbial Last Bike that I bought ~12 years ago, and the love of my life. Weighs 15.5 lbs. Even at 65, on a smooth road w 120 lbs of air in the tires, I can hold 17-20 mph all day, and I’ve done 35 for a few hours w a decent tailwind. 😊
I haven’t bought from eBay before and the bike shops around town just shrug their shoulders. Any tips or suggestions?

Ouch! I would check out a few of the Campagnolo groups on Facebook. Sometimes it’s cheaper than eBay. I’m not sure how old that Shamal is but if you can’t find it please DM me and I’ll see what I can do to help you find it. -Rio
EBay is usually okay. But it can be a hassle to find what you need. Maybe get a newer wheelset laced in, after so many years it might be a good decision. I would check the frame too that looks like a gnarly impact. Maybe your rear hub is toast too.

Did you run it over?
It was a very hard impact, I recommend you check if your frame is aligned and does not have any cracks, I hope the damage has been absorbed by the wheel.
About the wheel, buy a complete one, changing the rim is going to be very expensive, added to the spokes, which are quite expensive, try to look for a single rear wheel or a new wheelset, since the hub may be quite damaged. Tubular wheels are a thing of the past and second-hand tubular wheels abound at good prices.
