My eyes are set on a Fuji Jari Carbon gravel bike. The price is 3350 € / 3650 $ for the spec below.

-Carbon frame (UHM grade)
-Sram Rival AXS 1×12 groupset.
-XPLR shifter with 10 – 44 cassette
and 42 t chainring on my request.
-Wheels (21 mm) alloy by Oval
-Seatpost, stem, handlebar in alloy
by Oval
-Seat and bar tape by Selle Italia
-The bike will be set up tubeless with
Pathfinder pros 42 mm
-Weight is 8.75 kg without pedals.

I have taken the bike for a test ride and the frame feels comfortable and composed. All in all I feel its a pretty nice package. Getting a quality carbon frame and electronic groupset at this pricepoint seems…not cheap…but a good deal at least?

Please share your thoughts / experiences before I pull the trigger. Also regarding the colour…haha…eggplant was not on my bucket list but its slowly growing on me…

Thanks!

  1. Seems like a solid bike, the only thing I would change on it would be the cassette to a 10-44 xplr one to get a bit more range.

  2. Personally, I wouldn’t go that route. It’s a 2022 model and it’s with the ‘older’ frame geometry – if the price was around 2k, it would be a different story. But I like the colour tho 🙂
