I just got a beautiful 1980’s Schwinn Super Letour, but it has a problem. It has 27″x1″ tires, and I can’t find innertubes to replace my flat. Can I just try to squeeze in bigger tunes? Is there a good place to find weird innertube sizes?

I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure those are tubular so tire and tube all in one glued to the rim. I just talked to a shop about replacing a set and they said roughly three days and $150-$250 depending on which ones I want put on.
You can use a 700x25mm tube with no issues, they are pretty much interchangeable. If those are the original tires they probably need to be replaced.
Search for 27×1.1/4 tubes and tyres. (They will be a little bit wider (the 27×1 is 25mm and the 27×1.1/4 is 32mm)
