Hello Folks. I am new here and mew to road bikes. This is an old Ridley Fenix that I recently acquired second hand to get fit road biking. The BB is crunchy – I suspect it needs to be replaced. Does anyone recognise this BB and can you point me to what tools I might need to remove it? Thanks in advance!

Need photos of the BB to be able to tell you.
But to remove the cranks, that’s a self-extracting Crankset so should be an 8mm or 10mm Allen key in the hole there. Anti-clockwise to remove. It **will** be stiff/difficult to remove. This is because you have to overcome the ~40Nm force that pressed it on there when it was installed.
Take a photo of the writing on the inside of the crank arm
That’s a damn FSA bolt, you probably have a 386evo spindle. If so, the crunchiness is a feature 😅 At least on mine and apparently on some others. There are plenty of reports on different forums online
