Yes, a metron rim is 100% carbon so that’s a write off. The good news is you can get replacement 55mm rims for not a lot of money so you can hopefully get a decent wheelmaker to re rim it hopefully for less than £250.

You know how when you put a bike on a hitch mount, you have to be sure it’s not set up so that the car exhaust is by the wheel? This is why.
