Remco and Hart having to leave the Giro has destroyed this race. Not seen such boring grand tour in ages
I bet that many riders are rueing the day when the Tour of California as a spring racing option was removed from the pro racing calendar given the unpredictable weather and associated crashes and risk seen at Giro most years. No replacement for a grand tour but certainly a great option for pro teams looking to build their racing legs. Hopefully it will be back in near future.
