This bike is for sale in my area- is it just the photo or does the fork look bent to anyone else?

Fork looks toast but it’s hard to know for sure from such an angle. Be aware that the frame itself may also be damaged from a crash.

That fork is as dead as all-city.
I’d worry about the frame too.

I see the angle of the fork you are seeing. However, if you look at the Space Horse model on All City’s site, it appears that’s how those forks are designed. Odd angle from steerer tube to fork blades, I agree. Nice bike, I hope you buy it.

It looks like it has been in a front end collision, but the angle of the pic makes it hard to tell, also, the trail on AC forks sometimes looks off to me in pics (I have a space horse and even IRL i feel this). If it has been in a collision, it doesn’t mean the frame is necessarily toast, but I’d want an LBS to take a look. Great bike if it ends up being rideable.

The frame is likely OK. It’s triangulated and the fork is not. You could offer next to nothing for it. The fork could probably even be straightened with the right tools but it’s probably simpler to replace it.
If the frame is bent the paint will likely be rippled on the down tube. You can most likely check it by wrapping string around the head tube and pulling it to the rear dropouts and measuring to each side of the seat tube.
It’s a steel bike and there’s really not any danger of catastrophic failure.

I don’t think they have enough stem spacers

A shame because that’s an awesome space horse

Definitely bent but as long as its just the fork id still grab it depending on the price a new fork is only £100 for a steel bike

It’s usually the back of a car. If you’re smoking the good stuff, it might have been a parked car.

If that seller will not admit that those forks are bent, I would walk away.

If the fork is bent as it appears to be, lowball the seller then take your savings and buy a nice carbon fork. (assuming the frame is fine, look at top of the downtube)
