Hi everyone! So this is my baby the Momentum Midstep 2021 with resealable tubes and all original parts (except the Walmart seat) this is basically how every long distance journey has looked on this bike and I’m ready to dump a little bit of money, as I’m now hitting my pace of 20-30 miles a day and am preparing for a 60-70 mile per day bicycle tour.
I’m thinking off the bat I should upgrade the tires? I’m looking at the Grand Prix Continental x5000 700x32c as replacements. All of these parts have 20,000ish miles on them and I’ve replaced almost nothing/been in quite a few benders so if there’s anything you can think of that I should get replaced after this much wear and tear please let me know 🙂
Also obviously I’m probably going to get a saddle bag I do love the milk crate though.

I guess I’m mostly wondering if anyone has done long distance on the grand prix’s and what they thought. I’ve done a few centuries with this setup and I’m definitely interested in new wheels.
