You mean you glued the wrong side to the tube? Looks like it is holding and it will probably be fine.

Normally, yes, patches go the other way. But, it doesn’t really matter and your patch job looks adequate. Pump it with air and see if it holds. Put the patch under water and look for bubbles, to be totally certain that it is holding.

That’s going to do a great job of sticking to the inside of the tire after a few months in the heat.

As the orange is the ‘virgin’, unvulcanized rubber, I’m sure the edges bonded well to the tube. idk about the center portion though.
