Hello welcome to another Friday edition of is it possible to have a good night out in and tonight we are going to be in roule uh which is kind of between Burton Lichfield and Tamworth sort of um so we’re heading there now uh but somebody suggested that we stop off at the red

Line in Britton which is just on the way into rley first so before we get into rley we’ve decided to uh come out here and see what this wonderful looking Red Lion Pub that’s the offer in bariton so Pub number one’s going to be that yeah

I’m glad we stopped here it’s a it’s a really nice Old Pub uh it’s really bustling through in the other room with his pool table and stuff like that they do really good food at good prices but looks at things uh St behind a bar it’s

Very very friendly uh it’s a very nice place uh all the Halloween decks up already Fair Play We Are now in the build up to Halloween so you should have your Halloween decorations up uh this was apparently according to the the board behind me rebuilt in about

1847 uh the red line so it’s uh steeped in history very nice place to start uh on the way to roule from here so see what else the the even has in store for us wanted something on the way out so I to get this look at this

Look it’s a doggy Wall of Fame I love a good doggy Wall of Fame really dog Fame really really nice Pub this really good luckily uh earlier on I did post on a page we were in roule tonight to get a few suggestions someone said don’t miss

Out the rusty Barrel which is a micro Pub on kind of a hous in state so it’s not really in the center uh but we’ve only we’ve only been traveling for about 5 minutes to get out here and it is uh just over here so we’re going to go in

And see that one yeah you know how much we love a micro pump the ceiling here all the pump clips and stuff on this B uh it’s dog friendly it’s just a just a really nice little really nice little microp microp pubs are the best so yeah the

P super little place uh just one more to do on the outskirts of roule before we head into the town uh brings us to a food house uh called the Stags Leap thought we’d get this done on the way back into the town huge great food Pub Master’s Pub absolutely r

Bustling Place yeah definitely a food house typical M’s menu de decent enough foods that be fa everyone’s friendly seems a good atmosphere so we back towards the town sort to the bottom of the town now where we’re we’re now going to start moving in towards ruy town uh

And this is called the chase may you can see this looks like some kind of like Disney Castle or something it’s quite impressive it looks like another M’s Food House quite impressive from the outside though got see what it’s like in yeah as expected it’s a massive great

Mar it’s nice ins size big uh big sport uh big Sports screen goes all the way around M menu uh yeah decent decent Bo a good place to watch football good place to get a cheap nice bike to eat decent Boo at this so we are now on the

Outskirts of the town and this has been the most suggested to us on the Facebook post uh from earlier for the night this is the vine um everybody is every literally everybody said the vine the vine the vine is the one to go to so in we go so

I can totally see why uh the vine in was the one that everybody everybody said about so it’s got his own Brewery uh and not only have they got all their own uh sort of Porters ipas bits and stuff on they also make all of their own uh

Vodkas and their own Gins um and rums all right right do you want to be in the raer want to do this always interrupting me that’s the problem so I’ve just had a uh I just had a nip of their their chili vodka and uh that’s potent I can uh it’s

Warms the cockles let’s say but uh yeah this is this is a wicked p and what the R so cheap it’s like cheap it’s as cheap as wether spoon with a much better Ambiance and atmosphere and everything really old what 500 years old what’s your name Bobby this is Bobby roughly

Lounge Bar uh and he’s given us a route he wasn’t just saying go there because he his GFF he’s a really nice fell uh so this is our next portol went with from Masons and then we’re Lally in the Square it’s very quiet there’s not a so

Around and later at night not a creature was stirring no I can hear music and stuff so there’s obviously pubs and things but yeah the Town Center’s quite quiet let’s going let’s going with with masony it’s like like first for all micrb yeah proper proper nice uh proper nice gaap though deserves to

Things got the Halloween deck Halloween de up next up the Shrew got an early even Karaoke it’s a decent mov it’s big uh plenty of SP I can see why this probably the late opening one of the town so yeah but yeah go singing again girl see pretty good you know what the Shrew the Shrew actually it’s all right I can see

Why people would go in there later on um and stuff like that like the guy behind the bar is really friendly the singing the girl called Susan that singing she’s great um right next upop is the little red so second red line of the night but

The little red line and I see now why they call it the little red line CU it is just like this little cottagey type thing with t Holly’s going to like a regular sized person in the doorway yeah H going to seem like a regular a regular

Sized person going through that door I it I’m all right with that yeah this is R’s other um oldest pub must be 500 it must be 500 I mean the ceiling is you can see how close my head is theing but a there a lovely little bar area um got

It’s not a blue plaque it’s a blue plaque certificate the British Heritage pubs and stuff like that um yeah just it’s this is a nice little piece of History this is nice little nice little bit of History so back at and onto the square didn’t there was quite a few actually so

There’s the tavern over behind me which is quite noisy and rambunctious uh our next stop is supposed to be Bar number three so we’re going to it looks a bit quiet but we’re going to we’re going to head in here looks like a date night spot so see

She’s moaning at me again so we’re in this lovely this is an absolutely lovely little cocktail bar uh micro Pub Vibe type place as well we met Maxine who runs this place there’s a wave Max is lovely so she was about to close but she took pity on a poor thirsty Cockney who

Said to her come on let us have a drink let’s have a drink and I basically bled our way in like I do so uh so we’ve we’ve now got a free cocktail so I’ve got a p p and you know how much I love a pada so we’re going to taste this

Together here we go I’ve told her about the I’ve told her about the best Pad in the country so we’ll see we’ll see oh I tell you what that’s pretty good that’s pretty good I’m pretty impressed by it that’s very good oh got after oh yeah got a coconuty pineapple

After all very good loving it in here Ry R is doing all right so far Ru is doing all right uh what a lovely lady in over there uh right so opposite is the tavern uh they’ve got a 18th going on but I’ve been very reliably informed by some

Gentlemen out here that uh I can probably BL me way in so uh we’re going to we’re going to head into the sa there’s there’s a party happening in there yeah it’s an 18 party and they are they are pretty steamy we got in we had

A drink they’re having a great time yeah we got in we had a drink uh now we I think we’re heading to the cabin uh and then the albian maybe the cabin is this just there in front of us so not far you know yeah nice to find a bit of atmosphere

Expensive in there for roule though £1 13 for two single voder and dark HS which is quite expensive for what we found in roule so far uh nice little mic pub again though really really good little place they’re in the cabin for a Gary B tribute act Look pretty Good de size boo nice atmosphere friendly Norman what more can you want Gary bow tribute he’s good to be honest the old Gary bow tribute f um oh Bo jollies so right so that’s right right we just found Bo Jolly we’ve got that we’ got a minute uh I forgot

About that uh so our next Port of Call is the albian where apparently our drinks are already in so this is my kind of pu this so uh yeah like it so man the albian this is H this is a decent Wonder around so we’ve met we had

A bit we we’ve met we’ve met Bob the land lady we’ve met Bob but she’s only the land lady for about three weeks so what you need to do is you need to get down here you need to get down here on what weekend 20th the weekend starting

The 20th 20th it’s going to be it’s going to be a leaving dud that lasts like three days get down for that because it’s Barb’s bar at the moment you can’t steal the copper you can’t steal the copper it with so uh yeah but L things things things need to be done

It’s I think I feel like that weekend might be a big weekend so we might we might go lfi or something that weekend stopping here on the way be a messy one uh managed to spend too long in the albian as we expected to do because Barb’s really entertaining and quite fun

Uh so we’ve got a couple of minutes just to get to WEA spoon before it shots P shots at 12 that’s right in front of us the plaza uh look start to be an old Cinema building or something like that so I pan it on until 12:00 and it’s about

10 to 12 so fingers crossed we can still get in here H is coming she just walks very slowly okay so not only is this web expence actually pretty damn beautiful cuz it’s an old picture house um the toilets the toilets and they’re on the same

Level take no other weather SPS pubs put your toilets on the same level as your dream in it’s good it’s nice no one wants to walk a mile to go rid of this right so uh yeah that’s what go actually all right so short what around the corner cuz we’re trying to catch

Everything now on the on the ass where they’re open to the craft Union Pub of the town which is the crown in uh it sounds like a bit a party atmosphere uh you know what they’re doing here three wickets for six quid that’s what again yeah pretty

Standard craft Union bar um uh bit bit music football um but the important thing is three wick is for6 Bob and they literally just subjected Me to the 2014 uh Derby versus Forest game where they beat us 5n it’s like torture I’m oh awful right so I think this is the last one that we’ve still got left to do Bo is uh we’re going to get in cuz Bob’s going to get us in I

Think um so Bo J is the last one we’ve got to do we might end up back what was it called the Shrew we might end up back in shrew cuz you know shits and giggles so finishing up with K I can’t get on I try but
