  1. How it ended for Keane is one of the biggest disappointments of my life as a United fan.

I love Fergie, but he wasn't always the loveable grandad we saw at the end and I genuinely think he was cruel with Roy. Especially considering what Roy had given the club.

That said, Fergie's ruthlessness was part of why I had some many great memories during my childhood.

It's just sad how that relationship ended 😒

  2. Roy has always been full of himself. The fact is he DID cross a line when he ran all his teammates down on a post match analysis. He may have been right but that's for the in house session.

He was totally ok with that video going out for public viewing. Sir Alex put an end to that and went off at Roy.

When Roy had a whole day to calm down , reflect and make peace with the gaffer and the lads the stupid paddy wanker instead tried to say he was right and everyone else was wrong.

So Sir Alex showed him what real power looks like.

Go plant some potatoes tough guy

  3. Also Keane "Ferguson done me a bit of a favour" (signing Evans to Sunderland), happy to take the helping hand πŸ˜‚, finishes off by saying "its business", thats right Roy, and nothing more

  4. Bruno is weakest captain in United’s history…..where Roy on the other hand wouldn’t put up with the mediocre performances that so many at United seem to do each week

  5. As tiresomely miserable as ever. Done nothing successful in football since retiring as a player. Become a professional complainer instead, and people think it's genius.

  6. You know what? After all these years I just wish they both make up and forgive each other. The Boss is getting older by the day and I hate to say it but there isn't much time left. I just hope one day we see a news coming out of Sir Alex inviting in a bunch of the players as a get together and that includes Keano and they both just forgive each other and are smiling again.

  7. It’s clear the relationship meant a lot more Keane than it did to Ferguson and this was never reconciled. I once saw Keane try and follow Ferguson after a match and realised the awkwardness. Keane can’t deal with it by describing it for what it is so he insults instead

  8. You can tell how much he loved and looked up to Sir Alex despite never being mates off the field like some of the other players.

    He’s very hurt.

  9. The way United treated their top players was always going to come back and bite them. It breeds an atmosphere of contempt in the club. Why would any player give 100% to the cause when he knows that he will ultimately get shafted. If they did it to Keano then they will do it to anyone.
