In preparation of a 3 week bikepacking tour from munich through the alpes to the gardasea and back to munich, i made a little gear check out trip with friend.
We were hitting from berlin to Stettin starting in the evening arriving at minus 7 degrees at very misty and cold camping side.
In the end it was pretty tough because my mate were getting ill and i had a loosen crank.

you must be very rich to use tents in this country

You may want to work on your tent pitch though.
