  1. "she's doing her from Rome routine….her Texans pow pow" LOL 🤠😂. Super you guys are doing something incredible, thanks for filming it too!!!! looks like you have e bikes sometimes going so fast but I know its regular touring bikes, fantastic!!! cheers! 😀👏God bless 🙂

  2. Surprised at the fantastic bike lanes. We saw a parking garage with thousands of bikes in Amsterdam, so biking must be a real form of transportation. No wonder they are healthy!

  3. 6:11 Those triangles on the road mean you need to give way. We call them shark teeth. Sometimes cars give you the right of way anyway, but it is rude to force the situation (and illegal). It is also polite to signal a thanks to the driver. Can be done with a nod, finger raise, hand raise, etc.

  4. The only hills in the Netherlands are in the province Limburg, and some bumps in Drenthe (the hondsrug), the rest of the country is flat.

  5. Very interesting! I really enjoyed the video. I've moved to the Netherlands a few years ago, It took a while but I've completely converted to riding bikes or fietsen and now ride almost everyday. The Netherlands makes it safe, easy and fun to ride:)

  6. It's unfortunate to see many foreign bikers riding on bike lanes/paths along main car routes. You may think it's great, but actually you've missed out on the really great traffic-free routes all throughout the country

  7. Extremely risky move there at 06:13. The car had right of way and you should have yielded. Notice the position of the sharks teeth. You were going at quite a speed too so very lucky that car driver was paying attention. That could have very easily been a nasty accident.

  8. If you want to avoid riding along the freeway, with a little research often a scenic alternative can be found further out and parallel.

  9. Sorry, but don't you get sick and tired over the noise your tires make? I can understand that when you are off road cycling but the tires you use… Swalbe Maraton is the most used in Western Europe.

  10. The name "Joan" rimes on "Schoon";) We the Dutch pronounce "o" as an "oh". And double "o" is just bigger " oh". Not as in Goofy. Goofy in Dutch is "Goafy" for you… Coal is Kool.
