When you tighten a bolt, the end with the blank line will move to 5 Nm just like how other torque wrenches work.
Obviously this only has 1 torque setting and probably not very accurate.

It’s a cheap torquewrench. You use it like any other bit wrench and once you reach 3nm or more you will see that the “front” part of the plastic (the one closer to the screw) will not follow as much as the actual metal due to the force you are applying.
Thus a gap opens between both plastic pieces from which you can read the applied nm to the screw.
Not sure If that makes sense, If not there is a build Video from Canyon for the aeroad in which you can see it in action.

if u already have a proper torque wrench, u can donate this to aomebody else. it is almost useless and inaccurate as the normal ellen key
