Is this far back enough in the dropout? It’s a single speed and I put a half link into move the nut a little bit forward because if I pull it any further back it also goes upward and the chain rubs on the chain guard.

as long as your tire isn’t rubbing on the frame or your brake pads, looks fine to me
It looks fine, but I think it would be more fine 1/4″ further back (I.e with a full link in place of the half). Those chain guards are usually not hard to get into a position so they don’t rub, but you may need to do it more than once.
