Rear derailleur is probably setup wrong. The high limit is the likely culprit but there might be more that is not visible in the picture. For example, chain slip might also be due to worn-out parts.

what has been said but also: if the chain slips **without** you shifting into a different gear, you might need a new cassette because the teeth are worn. also check your chain with a chain tool.

I can see broken teeth on that smallest cog. It’s time for a new freewheel, and probably a new chain. You will also want to adjust the derailleur. It kinda looks like the derailleur hanger might be bent
