

Yellow is carbon. The other is aluminium + carbon fork.
As far as I understand, the small difference in geometry is what makes the carbon better more than its weight saving.
Do you think the difference in comfort is considerable, especially on long rides? I want to use it mostly on road and slightly off-road.

Weight wise, there is a significant difference between the two, but also the carbon fiber with be easier to break on accident. If you do everything correctly and just comparing the regular strength of them, they are about the same. In my opinion the one on the right is a better looking color scheme. Just my 2 cents.
If you are interested in riding mostly on road, you might want to ask over on r/bicycletouring, Reddit’s traditional community for on-asphalt travels. People here are likely thinking about a lot of off-road riding, maybe even gnarly stuff, when they consider what new frameset to get.
