So…

I got a beautiful Endurace 8 with SRAM groupset. And when I first got it setup (Thursday),I was so excited about the electronic shifting, that I didn’t think too much about the fact that the app (and my cycle computer) didn’t detect any power meter.

But now, looking at the crank, I’m wondering… Did my bike actually come with a power meter? My understanding is that it the SRAM quarc power meters slot in the center of the crank. But I’m not sure there’s anything there.

Did Canyon forget to install it?

Or am I being an idiot?

Your SRAM force crankset has a spider style power meter the Q located on your crankset denotes quarq and is in fact a power meter crank. It is not located in the spindle like the SRAM rival power meter.

Thanks everyone: it simply looks like I’m an idiot, which makes my life much simpler

  3. Pull open the “Q” cover on the drive side. You need to remove the clear plastic piece in there for battery to work. There should be a battery in there already.

There should also be a manual that says this along with how to set up the groupset with the app..
