Safe to mount to Carbon frame?

I’ve never seen anyone attach a rack like this to a Carbon bike. Is it safe to do?

I’m mostly wary of the irregular forces on my thin carbon seat stays. (I know that it’s generally a bad idea to clamp anything around a dropper post, but this can easily be replaced — my frame cannot). I have a rubber strip as a buffer at every contact point.

Note that the rack is only supported by a rod on the drivetrain side. There are several reasons for this: 1) the seat stay is wider than the rack under the attachment point on the rack. 2) the seat stay is only parallel to the rack close to its widest point near the axel. 3) the brake caliper attachment gets in the way of where I would want to attach a support post to the other side of the bike.

I could attach a support to the other side of the bike farther up the seat stay, but I feel like this might put twisting and sideways stresses on all attachment points.

Would you guys recommend a completely different rear rack, not using the seat stay attachments at all, and tightening the seat post clamp tighter to my dropper post, or going with and maybe adding the other support to the brake side?

Or, should I not use any rear rack on my carbon bike, and instead opt for a large seat bag?
