Hello everyone hope you’re doing well it’s time to have a look at the next event that is coming to War Thunder we have had the ground vehicle event of the new event cycle we’ve had the aircraft event it’s now time for the naval event and the naval event is for the SMS Baden

A German battleship at rank six now this will be an event vehicle so it won’t be a premium and also at the same time since it’s a rank six the top rank of Naval uh it’s going to be a 45,000 Mission Point uh stage setup just like

All of the rest of them that we’ve seen you know they did talk about the fact that some of these events will be shorter than other ones looks like the first three are all going to be the maximum length ones so to start with uh

We have uh from the 14th of March until the 1st of April this event is going to be running so uh it’s just like all the other events so if you didn’t know how these events work you have a stage which unlocks every 2 days and if you get the mission

Score between those two days you get that stage SL star if you get enough of these stages SL Stars you get the vehicle and along the way for different stages you get different rewards on top of it which is pretty cool this time uh there is actually a ship flag which is

On offer uh this is for six stages and it’s the kaisik Marine 1871 to 1918 flag which is kind of cool there’s also two decals the SMS baaden decal and also the emblem of the county of bayen as well you can get both of these at stage two

And stage four of the decal rewards they’re also bringing back for the ninth stage which is the one after you get the coupon for or the non-tradeable coupon I should say for the SMS baen now you get a tricolor camouflage for the the baen and also for random modifications so

They’re continuing what they did for the Jaguar is I think that’s a good positive change it’s something that is nice to see so overall uh the event itself is incredibly similar to what we saw from the Jaguar is event there’s no like loading screen or anything like that and

They’re bringing back a bunch of the other factors so in order to grind this event you have to use Naval and you have to use rank three or above in arcade and realistic battles for Naval and hopefully the modifiers will be nice since it is 45,000 Mission points and uh

Going over quite a long time you can also use rank one and two um event vehicles in Naval if you want to those can work as well one of the things to also mention is there are two naval battle pass challenges going on right

Now so you can kind of uh do both of them on top of each other which I think would be really cool they’re also bringing back the discounts on purchasing in stages for GE so if you get to 85% of the overall stage complete the mission score needed for the stage um

What they’ll do is they’ll reduce uh the price of the G that you need uh so it’ll be halfed and if you get to 95% then the price will be reduced by five times so if you get to 39,000 Mission points uh the actual um the cost

For unlocking the stage will be 499 golden eagles and if you’ve scored 43,000 it’ll be 199 they’re also bringing back the coupon upgrade and uh they’ve just made it exactly the same as the previous ones uh so you need to get 750,000 Mission points to be able to get

Access to the upgrade so you can sell this thing on the market if you want to I feel like uh the only real way of doing that is by cheesing as usual with Naval events the SKR 7 is insanely Strong high tier destroyers from America are really strong and also uh the 4347

British area is quite nice for this too especially with a new premium coming in which is quite good when it comes to the actual benen itself it is a Bayern class Battleship and it was one of the most powerful ships in the Imperial German Navy when it was going around it has 380

Mm guns it has decent armor protection and pretty decent survivability as well this uh vehicle uh served during the first world war for Germany and eventually um after the war so in 1921 it was sunk as a Target ship so this one won’t have any AA really it won’t get

Any of those modernization packages that a lot of other uh Vehicles got instead it’ll just be kind of sat there by itself so this one has 8 380 mm cannons uh very similar to uh other own class battleships we’ve seen it also have 16

150 mm uh cannons as well in the kind of side mounts that you see on a lot of these battleships and also eight uh sorry four 88 mm AA guns so good luck with that and a few torpedo tubes as well the belt at its strongest is 350

And then at its weakest 170 and I’m pretty sure we already have a Bayon class battleship in the game so obviously if you want to see any of the stats it would be very similar to that um maybe we don’t but we definitely have similar classes um especially when it

Comes to War Thunder um around the place so yeah um the uh simple well we actually have the bay ear itself don’t we uh so yeah if you want to see what this uh vehicle is going to be like you can just check out the uh bay ear in the

Teek Tre it’ll be incredibly similar to it probably with a different camo so this is another opportunity for a naval event where you can just kind of grind it and get access to the vehicle um and you know kind of play through the German TCH Tre remember that there’s a bunch of

Stuff that’s been setting the fast rages for German vehicles stuff like the tpet for example and also with uh submarines coming along obviously with uh Germany they should have some pretty cool ones so the baen might be worth getting to run alongside a few of the vehicles it

Is definitely not the best big banger in the game though and will suffer from V decompression just because they’ve added a bunch of other vehicles after it which will be uh much better than it in general scale and uh I suppose that’s one of the unfortunate things about

Naval a lot of it is just bigger ship more armor bigger guns especially when you have a look at the Mutu uh that they recently added but also at the same time it’s nice to see a naval event I always enjoy them quite a lot just to kind of

Get through but it just kind of sucks it’s another 45,000 Mission score you know full-on event it would have been nice to have kind of a little bit of a relaxation uh maybe a slightly shorter event this time for kind of a mid-tier premium I mean the fact that they’re

Adding a vehicle into the game as a rank three premium for the British uh for a destroyer that would have been a perfect one for this type of event uh so then it could get more people into Naval and kind of enjoying a lot of stuff going on

Instead what we get is more of these large bangers uh which you know are just going to keep mounting up in the right side of the event area there’s been so many different Naval vehicles uh when it comes to events I feel like uh this is

Just going to be another one on top of the Heap overall it’ll be a good event everything will go well with it everything will be fine it’s just finding the time to do it and also finding the correct vehicles in order to do it in as somebody who has been

Spading out a lot of the kind of Cruiser areas it hasn’t been very fun because you don’t get a lot of mission score while using them so yeah this one may take a little bit longer than what I’m generally used to so just remember the
