I’m running into the opposite problem, I need to mount a rear derailleur on a ’62 frame and only wheel that fit it are off a late 80s 10 speed, I got the wheels bothe derailleurs and I’m only installing the rear and i want to keep the front the ’62 crank, if I need to I can put on the 80s crank but I’d rather not have to.

I’m going to be that guy and say those are track ends, not horizontal dropouts. But they are very nicely executed track ends
