Hello, first post here – thanks for taking the time to engage.
I just bought an Intense 951 bike and was looking to install a bike trailer adapter – realized the Thule doesn’t come along with a thru-axle adapter and thus went to Amazon to order one and ordered this specific one:
NICEDACK Thru Axle Adapter M12 x 1.0, M12 x 1.5, M12 x 1.75 for Bike Trailer Hitch, 12mm Thru Axle with 1.0/1.5/1.75 Thread Pitch, Length Adjustable Thru-Axle Adapter for Bicycle Trailer Hitchs [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C69MDCNN](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C69MDCNN)
My bike is a 12 x 1.5 and the original thru-axle length is 170.5mm in length – the one I got from Amazon is 170 and is just shy of being flush with the frame (attached images). The main thing I’m contemplating is if this is good to go or should I try and get the variable 172-178mm thru-axle that’s also listed in that Amazon link?

Its like half a thread…. not a big deal just ride it
This bike is cleaner than my life, sorry for a random answer 😂
You need a minimum of 1D engagement (12mm)
Check you’ve got 12mm and you’re golden.
