Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Pinterest Bluesky Threads Recnetly bought this bike and it has developed some creaking in the cranks after 2 rides. Thought it was the pedals but I took the pedals off the check and the creaks still happened. How shouldnI take care of this? Thanks. PM_ME_SHIMPAN on March 8, 2024 9:16 pm Loosen the pinch bolts on the crankarms, tighten down the spindle bolts, retighten the pinch bolts. Then tighten your sprocket bolt as well. If it sticks around i wouldn’t worry too much, creaking is pretty normal considering the abuse these bikes take.

Copper slip the axle where the crank arms sit.

Get some pedals, ride it.
