    A large hex key goes in the 12-sided hole in the middle there. Usually 11mm or above in size.

    The bits you’ve circled are for **disassembling** the freehub which is not advised. There’s a lot of tiny ball bearings and everything has to be put back in the right way.

  2. 10mm hex key, give it a good push, it’ll go.

    Question: Why are taking it off? Sometimes going back on the wheel will need to be trued because of the splined fit to the hub, FYI.
