Got this 1987 GT Performer from my dad (it was his bike back in the day) he only gave me the frame and I had to find everything else. Was chrome but went with a more classic look. I am missing the seat post clamp, but I assure you it’s in the mail. I took her on her 1st ride today and was to excited not to share.

Looks sick. This was my era. Its funny though, I love modern bmx so much and could never ever ever ride one of these again. And the Performer was THE bike to have, next to a Dyno Compe.
But as far as LOOKS go, the 80s was on fire. Imagine this colorway today with a TINY white guard sprocket and fat ass white tires and nylon peg sleeves. No fuckin brakes.
