Last month I had an accident and I completely destroyed my old Canyon carbon bike frame. I have now bought this Vitus Vitesse Evo 2021 frame, and since most of the parts are still useable from my old bike, I am planning on transferring those old parts onto my new frame. The Vitus came with a pre-installed Pressfit Bottom Bracket from the brand „Prime“. On it, it says „for 29mm spindle“.
Now to the problem: I want to install my old Shimano Ultegra FC-R8000 (2×11). However, that spindle has a 24mm axle-diameter. I have now found an adapter online, which seems to solve the problem for me.

Does anybody have experience with this sort of adapter? Would this solve my problem?

I’d personally just install a Shimano bottom bracket. An adaptor would work, but I am not sure of any 29mm cranks and question the quality of that bb.

    Edit: SRAM dub is 29mm

So bb infinite do adapters aswell as prime also do their own. Looks like thats a bb386 and 29mm is dub you’ll definitely have a better time with a proper 24mm bb but if its just to get the bike running id say for how cheap the adapters are mindaswell for now but id definitely monitor spindle wear and id grease the delrin adapters well to prevent creaks
