  1. Got some more work done to my 1992 Rocky Mountain Equipe!

Ordered a RaceFace chainstay protector and decided to just grab a second pair of Chester pedals while I was at it, rather than wait for my other pair to become available (currently on a demo bike I’ve had for a couple months)

Raised the stem as high as it allows (only about an inch up from before but I’ll take it), and subsequently had to replace the front brake cable. I’d still like to go through and replace all the cables and housing, but I’ll leave that for another day

Installed a rear pannier rack to add some cargo capability, as well as got a stem bag for drink cups (mainly so I can carry a slurpee while riding in summer). My rack already had a taillight mount on it from previous use, and I threw on a spare front light mount I had laying around so low light riding is now taken care of. Also found some green valve caps at the bottom of my tool box that somewhat matches the logo on the frame so I swapped them on for a bit of flair

I think this bike is now at a point where I feel comfortable taking it for some longer rides, so I’ll try to find a pleasant day to get it out for its first good ride in years
