That sucks. I’m a huge fan of those tires. I rode Transamerica Trail last year and didn’t get a flat, even after taking some nails through my real tire. Also road thousands of miles of gravel with no issue.
That Kansas flint is no joke. What tire are you thinking of switching over too?
This weekend I swapped to Continental TerraSpeeds. I’ve been really happy with them through my first ride. They feel quick and grippier than you would think.
Do you also leave bad reviews of places you visit if it rains?
Last time I rode the same roads had the same failures in the Cinturato H. I have been through far too many Pirelli’s due to sidewall failure. At least you made it home on plugs. Last time I had boot and tube.
