I’m just starting and read something about double wall rims being better. I have a 12 year old bike from my research. Is an FIT Aitken 1 2012… It has Weinmann, 36H rims both front and back. Is it necessary to change it? When should i buy new ones? Do i have to buy new spokes too?
I’m DYING to buy the cult vans pink tires, it will make my bike look rlly good and i always dreamed of having them (had the bike for some time but just started riding this year). A pair of rims costs almost the same as the tires here (i know, this is fucked up but i live in Brazil… what can i do). Should i upgrade the rims?
If so, which one is a good one from the two in the print? Are any of them double wall?

Look for welded seams on a double wall rim. Also those Cult tires are atrocious. I’d stay away from those
Both double wall, but the xlt is more stronger
I have a 2003 Standard Bullitt I updated with all new parts save the frame and fork. Kept it simple with the Quadrants and for the price you really can’t go wrong.
Get Odyssey Hazard Lites, they’re awesome rims,& can take a beating, but BSD isn’t bad either, they’re all the same Co. in the long run
