My neighbor is selling this Trianfo. No idea how old this is but I’m guessing an earlier model. Any help would be appreciated. Bonus points for guidance on value. They said the tires hold sure and the bike is in good shape.
Mid 1990s is when those faux metallic paint jobs were popular.
[It appears to be a 1996 from some Googling](https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/1185398-novara-trianfo-model-year.html). If its Tange Ultimate tubing, (edit- pretty sure it is based on the white diamond decal on the seat tube) that’s a great tubeset, very lightweight for steel. Tire clearance on 1990s road bikes it usually not great, so you may bot be able to fit tires wider than 700c x 28
Hard to gauge value on an older bike, in some cities it might be $300, in a remote rural area maybe $100.

Those aero bars take me back. A buddy had a set, I believe by Scott? This would have been early 90’s. Are those included?

Early to mid 90s based on that top cable housing routing. Was a thing in the 90s to not have full cable housing from front to rear. Instead, cable stops along the top tube with a bare section of cable probably saves a few grams of weight.
Not sure if that was the real rationale but that’s my guess since the entire 90s was when weight weenieism was at its height across the entire high end bicycling industry, from road to mountain bikes.
Edit: that trend also had a trickle down effect in lower end bikes too.

I have put a few thousand miles on that bike. I put on a lot of modern parts, and it’s surprisingly good but I would not pay too much for the frame. I think I paid just over $100.

Any drive side photos?

Really just $100 as a rideable bike.
