    You may have seen my [last bike](https://www.reddit.com/r/gravelcycling/comments/192l6jw/i_wanted_a_porsche_but_i_didnt_have_porsche_money/) and some of you may even recall the [disaster](https://www.reddit.com/r/gravelcycling/comments/1b0uoml/amazon_carbon_fork_vs_2foot_drop/) that befell said bike.
    I have learned some lessons, and listened to my gravel group and bike buddies.

    I got this frame off of FBM. It may not be the fanciest bike out there, but has modern specs and geometry, plenty of mounts for all my bikepacking plans, clearance for 29×2.1, and best of all – it fits me.
