Over a year and a half w/ no car :)

Curious what y’all think of the unorthodox set up and wanted to show off this classic a lil. Had it since Aug 2020, bought for $800 in SF and have put in well over $1000, most of which is because of the the new carbon fork and rebuilt wheels where they had to replace each spoke lol but I feel confident while riding every time, even above 50mph.
The first picture is from a place called Kalapana on the Big Island of Hawai’i, the 2nd is near a place called HPP and the fruit canoe is along the road to Kalapana. It’s a bit tricky to say the least, to be taking my bike to some of the places I do but I have my flat/repair kits and it’s light enough to carry over the lava which seems to be he main obstacle, plus it’s hard to beat the views and seclusion when ya just wanna have a coastline to yourself. Also, bike theft and theft in general, are pretty rampant here so I don’t like to leave it outta site for long, even if it’s locked up.
