It was a big week on Craigslist for this addict. Found some first gen XTR M900 derailleurs, $70 for the pair, and upgraded from the Deore set that was on there before, saved about 35 grams in the process. Then yesterday I picked up a ’90 Stumpjumper comp for $35! Needs a lot of work, both shifters are broken so it’s stuck in small/small. I’ll be making a post about that build once it’s done, stay tuned!

How’s the chain adapter on the XTR M900? I’ve had some trouble securing it to my angular derailleur because the bracket calipers just won’t fit. If I dropout the crankset and switch the down tube, to give the fork some more room, do you think it’ll work?
