I recently bought a Ribble 725s second hand. It’s currently fixed but I want it as a city cruiser / commuter so will put both brakes and also mudguards on it. Does anyone have any mudguard recommendations for thicker wheels? There aren’t any mudguard mounts so has to be clip on. Tyres are 28 x 1.50 / 40mm.

I got an ass savers win wing a little while back, pretty satisfied with it so far.
I do however have no insight on front mud guards.
Looks like you have plenty of space so p-clips are the answer – you’ll get much better coverage and a neater final product with those. Proper bolted on mudguards are much nicer – both for keeping you dry and for not rattling.
