So, long story short, rediscovered my old build during garage clean up.
As far as I undestand only parts that are scrapable – rear wheel, and maaaaybe cranks? Frame is junkest of all junk hi ten chinesium, front wheel – meh, some drop bars and plastic pedals (I’m planning to ride clipless).
So, my biggest question right now – which frame to chosse? Biggest issue is that I’m from EU, and not really feeling like dropping 1k only for the frame. And other options are kind of limited.
So, my short list of frames that are reliably availbe for me:
Bike Punk Rankin – 488eur
Darkside MANNHEIM – 590eur
8bar KRZBERG v6 – 584eur
8bar KRZBERG v7 CLUB ~700 eur
Bombtrack Script 2017 – 740eur
Leader Kagero – 695eur
Leader Renovatio – 695eur
Tsunami Weapon Bullet (alu) ~600eur
Tsunami Weapon TC03 (steel) ~540eur
There is also one BB17 Karma going for 700, but she is M size, and I have 89.5 inseam
I cutting the looks of FABRICBIKE AERO, but it’s 450, and I don’t feel like bying junk’ish frame only for looks.
There is always an option for just breaking my money jar and picking Cinelli Vigorelli Track, but feels a bit over the budget and kind of too mainstream.
So, any thoughs on these options? Reccomendation? Maybe I’ve missed some hidden gems?
Also, any reccomendations on front wheel (rn was thingking about picking last stock of Victoire front hub and pair it with h+s archetype) and cranks are higly appreciated, thanks! Or if you have any interesting frames going for sale in eu (prefferably L and up size) – dm me!
