  1. This is one of the few times I’m saying no it actually is ruined. People usually pay up tiny dents and shit and think it’s trashed. I didn’t look at your profile to know a round about your age, but if you don’t drive and it’s your only transportation I would ride it. That said I would carefully wrap it in electrical tape that way you can actually follow the shape of the rim and go for it until you can get a new rim or while wheel since it is a good time to upgrade if you were planning on it in the near future. If you just do the rim make sure you go double walled do not buy a single wall.

  4. My cassette wheel set is currently like that, and since I don’t do gnarly stuff, a still can get away with a 180 of a curb, but I wouldn’t trust it down a 5 set stair or any drops around hip height. Saving up for a new rim though.
