I’m looking for a good quality, classic diamond, steel frame bike with some modern niceties. Disc brakes, carbon belt drive, ability to add rear/front rack and fenders.
I live in/near Portland, Oregon, so definitely want something that’ll hold up during the rainy season.
Looking to keep the bike below $1,000 and basically the one bike that satisfies that is the [Priority L-Train](https://www.prioritybicycles.com/products/ltrain). I’m curious if anyone has experienced this bike or has any similar recommendations that are local to the PNW. Thank you.

Brilliant Cooper is a cheaper option https://www.brilliant.co/products/cooper which I used until I upgraded to the. Priority 600. I enjoyed the Cooper, it’s rim brakes were a bit finicky though
Any reason you’re not going for the priority eight? The Alfine hub is nice upgrade over the nexus
I bet REI CoOp has something like that.
