I’m trying to install shimano BL-MT201 brakes onto my Trek fx2. The mount on my bike isn’t big enough to fit where the screws go on the brakes. Is there something I can do/buy to make it fit? Brakes are 160mm

I think you need an adapter (or different variation of brakes).
You have a flat mount fork and a post mount caliper. Google „flat mount to post mount adapter“ and look for the front wheel option.
Edit: make sure to buy one for the right rotor size.
