The biggest RC model flight day in Switzerland. For over 40 years, the Hausen am Albis Model Flying Day aka “Flugtag” has been held on the first weekend in October. This weekend it was that time again and the 42nd Flugtag Hausen am Albis 2023 took place in beautiful Swiss autumn weather. This video shows all the participating planes and helicopters – an incredible and impressive display of huge, fast, hand-built and beautiful RC model airplanes – as they were flown chronologically in the 1st demonstration round on Saturday:

1:19 Wahnsinn, eine Schwalbe im Grossformat. Ich beherrsche diese Falttechnik aus dem FF. Ich kann da immer noch Zeitgenossen beeindrucken, wenn ich diesen Papierflieger aus einem DIN A4 Papierbogen falte. Es gibt da zwei Versionen, einmal mit und einmal ohne Schwanz. Thanks for the upload. Nice to see a variety of aircraft. Its been a while but we use to have a formation flight of prop and EDF war birds, bi planes, muti motor planes. Some of formations were pretty impressive. Once we had 6 B 17s in formation, the sound of all those motors droning along.
